2) All images used and/or displayed on this website have been taken by Lynda Foyn. The people in these images are real people, they are not models or "stock images". Images may not be re-copied, or reproduced in any way.
3) Lynda Foyn Photography Ltd has taken every possible care to ensure that all information contained within this website is as accurate as possible. Lynda Foyn Photography Ltd will not be held responsible for any liability, loss, or damage, beit direct, indirect, or consequential, caused by the use of this website or any information contained within it by any persons.
We are compliant with the Data Protection Act 1988, and the GDPR, and as such we take the privacy of your information very seriously.
Data we collect and it’s uses
We will collect only the data we need from you in order to fulfil our contractual obligations to you, and/or, to provide you with any information that you may have requested (such as quotes or package details). After we have fulfilled our contractual obligations to you (for clients) we give you the option of how you would like your data dealt with (i.e. how long it can or should be stored or whether you would like it deleted). For prospective clients, we will hold the data until we are sure whether our services are required or not.
Any data collected, will be processed lawfully and in a clear and transparent manner. Data will only be collected for legitimate reasons.
Unless we are legally obliged to do so, or it is necessary for processes to fulfil our contractual obligations to you (such as third party photo processors or printing laboratories), your data will not be disclosed to third parties unless you have already specifically agreed for us to do so (such as in the case of sending photographs to suppliers, advertising sites, or adding blog details to our website). However, some advertising sites that we use (Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram for example), may share details with third parties, including outside of Europe, and/or allow images to be copied. Please ensure that you are happy with the way other such sites may use these details as we cannot be held responsible or liable for these sites and/or their respective privacy policies.
All personal data we hold is processed within the UK. However, for the purposes of website hosting and email, we use International companies that are certified under the EU-US Privacy Shield Framework and the Swiss-US privacy Shield Framework as set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce, regarding the collection, use, and retention of personal information transferred from the European Union and Switzerland to the United States, and therefore adhere to the Privacy Shield Principles.
Under new regulations about to come into place on 24 May 2018, the GDPR, you will have more control over how your data is held by companies, including ours. You will have the right to request access to your data and to be able to port data (transfer this data to others) should you wish to, the right to amend, erase or restrict the use of, cease further dissemination of, and also the right to withdraw consent to use the data at any time. (However, please note that under UK tax law there are some details that we legally have to keep for a minimum of 6 years. Any information that you allow us to use for marketing purposes will be kept with us until you request that we no longer use this information or for the time specified on your consent form.) By contacting us through this website, you do so at your own risk. We do our utmost to ensure the security of your data at all times. However, sending information over the internet is not secure and we cannot be held liable for the security of your data when sent through or to the website. All personal data that we hold is kept securely until it is no longer required.
All private data (names, addresses, contact details etc) is stored on secure devices.
All data is stored in a secure location. Files are stored on secure PC’s and hard-drives. All computing equipment is up to date with the latest antiviral and security software.
